  • 1945 | 16.06.45: Founded by Heinz Lehmann, the grandfather of the current managing director

    • Craft and repair business for metal goods

  • 1958 | Change of location due to the construction of the dam in the village of Pöhl
    • New location: Jocketa
    • Construction of the Pöhl dam → Relocation to Jocketa because of ties to the homeland
    • One day before the start of construction: Cancellation by the state construction company
    • Heinz Lehmann does not let himself be defeated and builds with his team on his own initiative within a very short time

    • Participation in the Leipzig trade fair - the exhibited heavy-duty lifting equipment is awarded the gold medal of the Leipzig trade fair

39 high-performance milling centers with central filtration and chip disposal system

20.000 liters of emulsion per minute to 10 µm - central systems from Lehmann-UMT make the impossible possible. The system reliably filters aluminum chips down to 10 µm from the emulsion. The good filter result and the dry filter cake enable the customer to melt the chips down again, recycle them and thus protect the environment.

The compact filter used has a demand-controlled filter fleece feed, which means that the system only feeds new fleece into the filter chamber fully automatically when it is needed. This makes the overall system very sustainable and cost-efficient in terms of disposal, energy and follow-up costs.
